History
Praise and Leadership Schools—PALS—is a system of non-profit, non-denominational Christian elementary and preschools. We accept infants from 6-weeks of age to children through 6-years of age at the preschool level, and grades K-8 at the elementary school level.
In 1985, Miracles on the March, a non-profit corporation started by Tom and Carol Lund, gave an initial grant to create the first of the PALS schools. Over the past ten years, PALS has invested more than $1.5 million in research and curriculum development. By incorporating the best teaching concepts and techniques from Montessori, High Scope, and Walt Disney’s training system—plus a number of positive motivational programs—PALS created a new industry standard: The Lifeskills Approach Curriculum for Early Childhood Development.
PALS maintains the highest operational standard for preschools in the country. PALS provides over 30 hours of continuing education for our staff each year. All teachers must also maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications. Our Board of Advisors, which consists of local and nationally recognized professionals from various fields, meets regularly to help ensure that PALS remains at the forefront of education.
