For a Quality Peoria Infant Daycare, Stimulation is Emphasized
You don’t have to wait until a child can interact with you to start nurturing their brains.
Research shows that early efforts, such as reading out loud, singing, and encouraging fine motor skills and group activities, can go a long way to giving children development boosts that can potentially stay with them all of their life.
That’s part of the innovative approach of PALS Praise & Leadership Schools, which accepts area children from age six weeks old to six years old.
PALS is known for a daycare and pre-K program but also includes a popular Peoria infant daycare program.
Here, the goal is to nurture each child with plenty of love and positive attention. This creates a creative environment that’s stimulating, safe and secure.
This type of setting can establish a firm foundation for future growth where every child is provided with all the tools they need to thrive physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and academically.
Our Peoria infant daycare program encourages discovery and essential skill development. Our highly-trained teachers are committed to creating a positive and caring atmosphere.
A Focus on Fun
Each child is assigned a Small Group Teacher who is responsible for writing daily progress reports, conducting activities and providing optimal care throughout the day.
Daily activities include reading/book time, “Toys and Noise,” infant massage, Tiny Toons, and Discovery Bag. All of these provide regular variety but also some degree of a schedule.
Staff members also regularly check in with parents, including trying to closely sync up to each infant’s home schedule with their PALS schedules, such as nap times and meal times.
Parents are always welcome to talk to staff and come by. They can come into the classroom or watch the class on a monitor.
As with the rest of the school, considerable focus is placed on security and safety at the Peoria infant daycare program.
Each classroom includes a camera and a phone. Authorized parents or legal guardians are assigned a secret code to access the locked front door and must scan their thumbprint to open the door to leave with their child.
PALS makes it easy for children and families to move their way up through the system and move from the infant program to the toddler area, then the 2-3 area, then the Pre-K area. Each program has a unique curriculum and an exclusive focus on developing a well-rounded child. This includes everything from art to group activities.
The PALS approach is designed to foster creative development of spatial awareness, logic, reasoning and motor skills. It also is intended to build a solid foundation for future success in social skills, math, language and a general understanding of the world.
