Peoria Nursery School Presents Excellent Learning Opportunities
More than 30 years of educational research has led to one conclusion: school can be a place for everyone to shine regardless of the age or grade level. This approach is seen every day at PALS Praise and Leadership Schools, an innovative nursery school in the Peoria area. Here, students from infant age to pre-K age spend their days enjoying themselves while learning valuable life skills.
PALS divides its students into four areas: the infant area, the toddler area, preschool and pre-kindergarten. Moving between the classes is designed to be seamless as students age and are ready for more advanced learning opportunities.
Each daycare age level has a separate set of instructors who focus on delivering appropriate levels of instruction throughout the day, all designed to stimulate and develop each group of students. Even when children are playing games, they are learning skills and building values.
There are a variety of Peoria nursery schools in the region, but many of them focus more on the social part only, or general child care. However, at PALS, our goal is to go beyond basic care and provide a focus on developing the whole child by boosting his or her social, intellectual, emotional and physical skills.
Although all ages of children at PALS enjoy playing and learning in the various activities, the nursery school presents an especially enjoyable stage of growth as youth transition from the younger toddler area and eventually to the older child area.
But at age 2-3 is when they truly begin to discover their talents and skills. Moreover, their personalities start to emerge.
The Value of Nursery Schools
The highly-trained staff at PALS makes each child feel special and also places a high emphasis on providing positive reinforcement.
Children in a Peoria nursery school like PALS take part in playtime as well as lesson times that are designed to be fun as well as mentally stimulating. Teachers also make sure every student can understand a concept before moving onto the next idea.
The overall goal of the PALS experience at the nursery school level is to teach children how to succeed by setting and achieving their goals at their respective age levels. Though they may not retain too many of the specific memories from this time later in life, they will still have the confidence, and the values gained. These values will stay with them all theirl ives, which could lead to further success and happiness later in adulthood.
The PALS campus was built with children in mind with different areas for the different age levels. There’s also a strong focus on security with parents or guardians needing a code as well as thumbprint access to enter and depart.
